RANGE DEVELOPMENT SURVEY
Mission Statement: The purpose of the Waite Park Rifle Club shall be for the encouragement of organized rifle, pistol and shotgun shooting among the citizens of the United States with a view toward improving the knowledge of safe handling and proper care of firearms as well as improved marksmanship.
The following are the results of the Range Development Survey; with a total of 177 returned surveys, the response rate was 40 percent.
Would you utilize an indoor pistol/ 22 rifle range?

If yes, should this range be located on the existing range property or in an industrial park close to St Cloud?

Would you be willing to pay a range fee of up to $8.00 per hour to shoot at an indoor range?


How often would you use an indoor range in the summer months?
How often would you use an indoor range in the winter months?


What improvement should be made at the existing range?

Have you had to wait to shoot because the range was too busy? The total # who said they had to wait was 53 members; just over half of those who had to wait ( 25 members) said their wait time was more than ten minutes to use the range.


Are you satisfied with the current dues structure ($50/yr with $25 work credit)

The existing range is limited to a max. of 100 yds; should the club try to find land to site a 200-300 yd range?
