BIG BORE ACTION SHOOT

 

 

This shoot will vary the course of fire each time it is shot. The course will consist of no less than 25 rounds being fired into a combination of paper and reactive targets (Steel, bowling pins, etc.). The paper targets will each get 2 rounds for a maximum of 20 points per target. Each reactive target is worth 5 points. Below is an example of a possible course of fire and the scoring.

 

Station One:  Front door-  double tap paper target, knock down as many  bowling pins (6 max) as you can in 3 shots

 

Station Two:   Car door-  knock down 2 metal targets, double tap paper target

 

Station Three: Baricade- double tap paper target, shoot down metal targets  ( two each)  from each side of barricade.

 

Station Four:  Bay window-, knock down metal targets and pins (16)   

 

Scoring:   paper targets (three) with possible score of    60 points

                 pins & metal targets (28) possible score of   140 points

** Note: Range Officer (RO) will give command to “load your weapon” at Station One.  All weapons must be unloaded with magazine out and action open prior to entering shooting block at Station One.  Shooters are responsible for moving through course with the “safety on” their weapon between stations.  Timer starts when shooter is given command to fire.   Upon completing the course indicate that your weapon is clear and exit the course with pistol action open.
