What competitions are there?

In 2007 WPRC is planning on having 3 shoots. One EIS Pistol Match, one Vintage Military Rifle Match, and one M16 Match.

What guns are allowed?

For the complete CMP rules regarding the weapons allowed look here

For the EIC Pistol Match only the Beretta M9 and the Colt 1911 are allowed. Both must be in the original 9mm or 45ACP caliber.

For the Vintage Military Rifle Match any bolt action rifle that was issued during or prior to 1945.

For the M16 Match, any M16/AR15 semi automatic rifle.

What else do I need to compete?

Once you have signed up, completed the affidavit, submitted the fees, and ordered any ammunition you may need you are ready to shoot. You will want to bring water, sun screen, and a folding chair to relax between events. No alcoholic beverages will be allowed on the range at any time.

How do I order ammunition?

Contact the CMP Liaison and find out what is available to order and at what price. There is no ammunition available from the CMP for pistol competitions.

What does it cost to compete?

The fees will vary per competition and will be set by the CMP and WPRC.
